Introduction

In biblical days, many chose to worship “graven images”, and devoted their lives and energy to an idol that served as nothing more than an allusion of happiness. So, many women today have adopted a new graven image: the perfect celebrity body. Too many rely on the media’s opinion of what you need to eat, how you need to dress, and the optimal bust and waist size required in order to achieve happiness in life and desired attention from the opposite sex. My purpose in this blog is to educate as to what a healthy body really consists of, inform of harmful and misleading diets, warn of possible long term illnesses that result from body image obsession, and to by and large erase misconceptions that happiness comes from achieving the perfect celebrity body.

  1. It's already bad that girls are so critical of their bodies...what's worse are the men who encourage it. For example, I think pornography and other graphic material has severely changed a guy's image about what the perfect woman should be. They live in a fantasy and expect that from girls. I'm not saying that all men to do this, but it is becoming a huge problem. It's sad to know that men might think less of their wives and daughters because of the sickening lifestyle addiction they may have....
